Inherent in each of us is a desire to live life fully and happily. Despite this, everyone experiences times of difficulty. When difficult times or painful feelings fail to help you grow and instead leave you feeling stuck, therapy may be helpful. Therapy is a deeply personal experience, requiring a commitment of time, effort and money. A therapist who is a good fit, not just in terms of areas of expertise, but also in terms of personal style and philosophy increases the likelihood that therapy will be efficacious. This site is primarily about helping you to make this decision. I’m also happy to speak with you on the phone to answer any further questions you might have.
When one door of happiness closes another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.
--Helen Keller, educator, 1880-1968
