About me...

I have worked as a registered psychologist since 1996. Prior to this, I was a registered nurse, initially doing clinical work and later doing medical research.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from UBC in 1995. My dissertation work involved providing and evaluating group treatments for morbidly obese women. I completed a one-year internship at The Toronto Hospital where I worked in both medical and psychiatric areas.

Upon returning to the west coast, I worked as part of a multidisciplinary team treating people with persistent pain problems. Additionally, I have led therapy groups for men convicted of assaulting their partners, and have provided individual and group therapy for various research studies looking at the impact of psychological treatments on medical disorders.

Currently, I am in private practice providing therapy for individual adult clients.
